My old plastic gutters were sagging and cracked, so I finally switched to aluminum. The installation took a full day for two guys, and they had to carefully measure and cut each section on-site. The seamless look is fantastic, and the sections lock together with hidden brackets instead of those ugly external clips. The color is baked on, so it won't chip like the painted ones. I'm really glad I went with aluminum over vinyl, even if it cost more upfront.
