If you're trying to figure out how to do something on an Android phone, just tap the search bar in Settings and type keywords like 'turn off notifications' or 'set up voicemail'. Android's layout changes a bit depending on which company made the phone, like Samsung versus Google, so sometimes the exact menu name shifts. For split-screen multitasking, try pressing and holding the app switcher button; if that doesn't work, look under display settings for 'multitasking' or 'split screen'.
