Our heat pump started blowing lukewarm air last night, which isn't great when it's freezing outside. I tried resetting it and checking the filter, but no luck. The technician came today, diagnosed a refrigerant leak and a faulty reversing valve. He said the compressor is still good, which saved us from a full replacement. Two hours later, we have warm air again. Regular maintenance might have caught the leak earlier, but at least it's fixed now.
