The Holston Conference church community gathers in the Appalachian region, weaving together Wesleyan traditions with local mountain culture. Sunday services blend contemporary music with old hymns, and the potluck dinners afterward are legendary for their fried chicken and green bean casseroles. The congregation focuses on mission work, from building wheelchair ramps to organizing food pantries for rural families. It's a place where everyone knows your name and remembers your grandparents.
